It was usual journey back home from office. Frankly speaking I don’t know the exact route our cab driver takes. I spend those precious time in catching some sleep (sometimes even the driver wakes me up at my drop-off point). Last thursday, while returning I was awakened by loud drumming sound and was happy to find that there was a “Yakshagana” play at Shankaramata (Basavanagudi). My new acquisition

After using point and shoot camera (Nikon Coolpix 2100) for more than two and half years, I thought its time for an upgrade. Bombay and Bombs

A series of bomb blasts have rocked Bombay/Mumbai again. Close to 180 people dead and 460 injured during the blasts. This is the worst bomb blasts Mumbaikars have seen after 1993 blasts. Few months back, I met a friend, T V Srinivas, who is staying in Mumbai for more than 16 years. While we were talking he said – “All these blasts, heavy rain, floods are daily part of Mumbaikars. Very next day people start their day as if nothing happened yesterday.” And as usual Mumbai is returning back to its normalcy.
