Dasara (Navarathri) has just concluded and here is a small video of Dasara doll arrangements at house. More than Dasara it was known to us as ‘Gombe habba’ (ಗೊಂಬೆ ಹಬ್ಬ) back when we were kids. For all the ten days during the festival, 50 to 60% of our living room used to get occupied with the dolls. Neenaanaadre Naaneenena (in Kannada) translates to – “If you are me, then am I you?“. Its a Kannada version of William Shakespeare’s “Comedy of Errors“. Scripted by S. Surendranath in Kannada on the same theme with a slight change in characters. Happened to watch the drama ‘Neenaanaadre Naaneenena’ in Rangashankara yesterday. A total laughter riot for complete 2 hours – one obsessed to detective novels, other with Shayars, anohter is a deaf, fourth sings a song with every dailogue. Examination time, as usual all of us were busy in collecting notes from others and getting it photo copied. Somehow we had reached the end of 5th semester. We had a very wide variety of subjects in that semester to name few from interesting subject Digital Signal Processing to wacky Control systems to tricky Microprocessor to boring Telecommunication and Switching.
